Calle 23 Criollo El Dos Reposado is an exceptionally rare limited-edition tequila created by founder and master tequilera Sophie Decobecq as a tribute to her second son, Eliès. More than eight years in the making, El Dos is crafted from the rare Criollo variant of Blue Weber agave, prized for its concentrated sugars and intensely aromatic character. The spirit began aging in seasoned ex-whiskey barrels before portions were removed at different stages of maturation, ultimately creating a complex blend incorporating Reposado, Añejo, and Extra Añejo tequila. Because the youngest component is Reposado, the final expression carries the Reposado designation despite much of the blend being considerably older. With only 3,932 bottles produced worldwide, Criollo El Dos is one of Calle 23's most exclusive and collectible releases.
